Contacts

A Contact is a person — a lead, a customer, or someone at a client Company. This page covers the Contacts list and the Contact record itself.

The Contacts list

Above the table, five data-quality tiles surface records that need attention at a glance — including Missing owner, Missing email, Missing lead status, and No recent activity. Click a tile to filter the list to exactly those records.

Set an owner whenever you create a Contact — it’s not automatically defaulted yet, and an unowned Contact is the single most common thing the data-quality tiles catch.

Creating a Contact

Contacts → Create Contact. Fill in the basics (name, email, phone, job title) and set an owner and lead status. Associate the Contact with a Company if one already exists in your workspace.

The Contact record

  • Overview — the at-a-glance summary: key fields, recent activity, and an owner-assignment prompt if the record doesn’t have one yet.
  • About — the full field list: contact info, lifecycle/lead status, source, and any custom properties your workspace has added.
  • Catch-up — a running summary of recent activity on this record. AI-generated insights here are being rolled out gradually; where they’re not yet available, this tab says so plainly rather than showing placeholder text.
  • Activities — every Note, Email, Call, Task, and Meeting logged against this Contact, with sub-tabs and filters (search, time range, assigned-to) to narrow it down.
  • Deals and Revenue — every Deal this Contact is associated with, and a rollup of revenue across them.

Companies, Deals, Notes, Tasks, Meetings, Tickets, Attachments, Client account, Playbooks, and Conversations all appear as association cards in the sidebar — each with a count and a quick ”+” to add or link one.

Logging activity without leaving the record

The quick-action row (Note, Email, Call, Task, Meeting, More) lets you log an interaction in place. The Note composer has a “Also create a follow-up task” checkbox — check it, set a due date, and both the note and a linked task are created together.
